We're looking to have a replacement oil fired boiler fitted at a new location within the house (the same relative distance from the tank as at present, just a different room) and have had two installers around to take a look; one has said that a re-sited boiler means that the existing, unmoved tank becomes liable to the latest building regs (which will mean it also has to move), while the other has said that's not the case - new boiler fine, old tank also fine where it is with the addition of a firewall - who's right ?
thanks in advance for any responses !
