Is it worth hiring an architect?

Posted by Neil Lawlor, on
I'm thinking about a small kitchen extension, from around 10sqm to around 18sqm. I would ideally like a statement kitchen, is it worth hiring an architect, or will a builder's drawings/draftsman suffice?

Sounds to me like you would need an architect aswell as planning permission if you dont need planning, i would still get an architect for structural and then most kitchen companies will come out and draft you up kithen designs based on the layout and space you have.

What would you like to do now?
