I have moved into a new build with a concrete kitchen worktop. and within 3 months a partially filled glass of wine has spilled on the worktop causing it to stain badly and the developer is claiming this is neglect as it was not cleaned properly. It is my clear view that the concrete worktop was not sealed properly as one half glass of spilt wine should have been easily wiped without significant staining. I am seeking somebody with an expertise in the field to advise or test whether the worktop was sealed. Any advice in relation to any expertise in this field would be gratefully received and prepared to pay for an assessment..
