I'm replacing my kitchen worktop with a new one. The worktop I like has a different height (12.5mm) to the existing one (30mm). Is this feasible for installation, as I have an existing hob and a sink to be fitted into the new worktop. Will the hob and sink stick out too high above the new worktop? Or can the hob and sink be lowered to fit in the new worktop?
