Constant beeping, warning alarm from behind wall switch.

I have noticed a loud beep every 2 seconds from what would appear to be inside a wall switch. The switch is for the fridge freezer in a new build flat. The beeping sometimes becomes more rapid but settles down to the usual 2 seconds apart. I have checked the fridge freezer itself and all seems fine, the doors seals fine, the temp is fine and the noise does not come from the fridge freezer itself. There’s no way to assess the cause of the beep with 100% accuracy but I’m pretty sure it’s coming from behind the wall switch for the fridge/freezer. Is there a way I can find this out before getting in the correct help?
