Loft converted to bedroom, too cold.

Posted by carrie browne, on
The loft has been converted to a bedroom. The room is too cold to sleep in in winter. There is no room to put any more insulation in the rafters, as you cannot get access to the whole roof space.

Without full info I'm guessing however if the loft was done to recent building regulations insulation and warmth shouldn't be an issue. You could over board the room with insulated plasterboards (kingspan or similar bonded to the plaster board). And plaster over the top
