HI , I have a large floored Attic from previous owner. The rafter ties have been moved up around 150mm to provide standing height. This makes me believe that I can turn this area into a games room with stud walls and electrics ETC. Do I need this assessed by a structural engineer or can I employ builders to do this as is ?
