Cost? tradesperson?

Hoping to have a dormer window{4.5 sq metres} fitted into the top floor rear roof. the existing floor is fine.unsure who to ask for on the site,window fitter?roofer or joiner? also not sure of what the cost is.we were thinking of a basic dormer,upvc side panels,not tiled roof.thanks

Hi Gerard have you contacted your local council as you may need permission for the dormer as you will be able to overlook neighbouring properties. The existing floor may need strengthening to support the dormer. Ed.

Hi Gerard In most cases you should get a roofing firm in to strip roof back and build the dorma they can supply the windows and clad in upvc then they can do the flat roof and any tiles that have to go back,once this is done you can get other trades to finish the internal Thanks Danny
