Chip on induction hob

Posted by Tom Page, on
I’ve had a chip happen on my glass induction hob right on the edge but away from the elements, I’ve only recently moved in and don’t have the budget to replace the whole hob. I’ve thought about placing some aluminium metal down the edges of all of the hob to cover the chip and also protect in case anything hits it again from the side. I believe this would be relatively cheap to do to find some small strips of metal to go around the edges but I’m not entirely sure how to do it. Any recommendations would be great.
