Plaster came away when tiles removed

The plaster came away from the bathroom walls round the bath when we removed the tiles. Is it possible to put up plaster board in a bathroom, and then tile over it?

hi susan if you use plasterboard it will have to be plastered you can use tile backing board then tile or make good damaged plaster hope this helps regards Danny

Hi susan It is possible to put plasterboard then tile over but you need to apply primer for plasterboard before tiling then let it dry for 24 hrs Best regards Rafal
