Wall Repair (Bedroom)

Posted by Roger Standing, on
Job Details: I require a bedroom (3.82m x 2.44m) to have the walls re-skimmed by Plasterer/Renderer. However, one wall has a bulge from floor to ceiling of about 20mm. This bulge is at the interface where a building extension (done several years ago) meets the original building. The wall is an external cavity wall - brick and block. As part of the project, I would like the bulge "chased out". i.e. masonry removal before the Plastering is done. Question: Could I expect a Plasterer/Renderer to do all the work or, would I require another tradesman to affect the masonry work?

What would you like to do now?
