If it is asbestos you will need a specialist firm to remove it, dont just get the pikey's to do it , as the danger is when it cracks and then there's asbestos dust everywhere, thats what does the damage it can take years to show itself in humans, bit lads I worked with as apprentices are now starting to show symptoms
