Hi, None as such really , some of the best builders are the old school ones that never had the opportunity to gain qualifications in their trades but I guarantee most are legends at what they do. If you feel happier to see qualifications for the tradesmen/women that you employ then so be although it's only a piece of paper and not years of practical knowledge . I myself am qualified in three trades but learnt more from the old men I worked alongside. You do need qualifications to carry out gas and electrical work.
