Replacing a flat roof can vary considerably depending on the size of the roof and how much of the entire roof including the existing covering, perhaps the old decking(commonly chipboard) and insulation that may need to be removed and replaced. Also scaffold may be required if the flat roof is at a height above garage/single storey extension height. If the flat roof has an existing covering of asphalt that is generally flat and not pooling at all then this covering can,and commonly is over later with a new covering if free of stone chippings. My advice is to get three quotes locally as prices vary regionally and ensure each quotation has a detailed specification of the required work.
