Fitting a new slate pitch roof

What are the minimum insulation requirements

Hi David, Not sure what type of roof it is, I would recommend a good quality breathable underlay, most manufacturers are now insisting upon a 50mm gap between the underside of the slates and the underlay, this usually requires counter battens being fitted after underlay and before slating battens. I would recommend as much ventilation as possible, such as eaves ventilation and ventilated dry ridge. Good luck. Andrew.
