Removal of home alarm system

Posted by Daniel Board, on
I live in a 2-bedroom terraced property. We have a wired alarm system which we are planning to upgrade to a wireless system soon, which we will install ourselves. The current wired system is manufactured by Veritas, and is about 10 years old. It comprises a user control panel, a larger computer panel, four interior movement sensors, one door sensor, an exterior bell box and a second dummy bell box. We would like for the system to be disarmed and stripped from the house. Luckily the wiring trails along skirting boards so I don't think the removal should be too tricky. It's more the removal of the exterior bellbox that might be an issue, as it's about 4m off the ground. Can anyone give me a ball-park idea of the fee involved with such a job?

Hi Daniel, Removing your old system is no problem. But if i was you would pay for someone to do it,the cost would be about £60 to £100. that would include fitting the new bell box, Hope this is helpfull to you. Regards Alan
