Best yet affordable house domestic Alarms on the market?

Posted by Renee Ferns, on
I have taken some advice with regard to house alarms and am getting conflicting advice. One says that I should get a normal wired alarm with two led front of house and back sensory lights. The other says that I should get a non cordless (?) one which is connected through my landline and rings me on my mobile if someone breaks in when not home - with 2 front and back led lights. Also, not to use ADT as they charge you too much for repairs and other visit related issues. The third say's use ADT! All prices quoted have been between £540 and £650 - for 3 PIR & Contact and for wired 7 sensors in total. We have an elderly disabled person in the house with own door entrance, otherwise it is an ordinary 3 bed house. kids for sure and dog a future possibility. Any good advice would be gratefully received. Thank you in advance.
