Wireless grade 2 intruder alarm

Posted by Steve K, on
I am looking into the cost of installing a wireless grade 2 alarm system. Hardwired External sounder, and Dummy Sounder, possibly 5x wireless two way motion PIRS, 3x two way wireless magnetic contact and shock sensors, 2x Door contact, 2x key fobs. Also a iOS app that i can control and monitor the system with so i can self monitor the system. How much and which manufacturers are reputable?

Hi It depends what your after. If you just what an alarm that will stop your average low skilled burglar then there are smart phone controlled alarms on market such as Yell, however in my experience these type of alarms are nowhere near as secure as a traditional one as the alarm, bell, keypad and dialler are all built in to one box. Jump on that and the alarm is disabled. Whereas traditional ones the keypad is remote from the controller so you can jump on keypad as much as you like it will not do anything. A good wireless system which doesn't have the smart phone control but is as secure as traditional alarms is Texecom Richochet. Where about are you located? Regards Ben Kelly Cables Ltd
