Replacing locks and door handles

Posted by Gareth Beaumont, on
I had the joy of returning to my property to find that incorrectly Greater Manchester police had instructed locksmiths to force entry. In gaining access apparently through the rear patio doors they manage to damage the handle and also leave as you can clearly see Replace the lock with effectively a lock that can be smart. Genius I know. Additionally went to gaining entry to the rear of the property they then proceeded to the front door, and even though the key was in the front door they using the key to unlock the front door cause damage to the outside of the door as you will see from the pictures and replaced The lock again with a cheap replacement. After a lengthy battle it is an agreed that they are to withstand the cost for the damage they caused and as a result I need the lock and handles replacing. Additionally since this happened the front door does now no longer close properly and I’m concerned that whatever they have done in trying to force entry from the front has damaged the front door as well. Therefore I require someone to attend to provide a full assessment and full breakdown of costs.
