What are my rights on cancelling a tradesman I have promised a job

Posted by JANE HAMPTON, on
I have promised a tradesman a job and accepted a quote. After a series of unprofessional incidents by him, I do not feel confident that he is able to do the job. Am I within my rights to cancel him.
