Hi Judy Does the replacement silicone fail because the bath is loose ? If your bath is not correctly fitted, then edging tiles will fail also. I would suggest that you post a request to have your bath properly re seated. Modern, correct for the task, mastic sealants of quality, will have mould inhibitors present, and should not fail if applied correctly. I hope this helps, regards, Mike
