Gap between tile and shower unit

Posted by Adam Barnes, on
My tiler cut too large a square around the plumbing for my new shower unit, now that the shower tap is fitted on top of the tiles there are gaps behind it where you can see the hole in the tile. The gaps aren't huge but they need filing somehow, my plumber suggested grouting but I'm not convinced but I guess that's the only option short of putting a new tile on which is going to be a lot of hassle and expense for me, especially as the property is for sale. Please advise, cheap and easy solution for a useless guy.

Hi Adam I would recommend to post a job on main website because some of a job needs to be seen before any advice is given. Our service is free of charge with no obligation quote and our tradesmans are happy to help with every aspects of jobs. If you post a job on Rated People home page then 3 companies will get in touch then you would be able to choose the right person as you would receive an e mail with a link to tradesman account where you would see a pictures and you will read revious from previous customers. I hope this will help Best regards Rafal
