I am bathroom fitter do the complete bathroom, moving old I would prefer to do it myself , if stuck on plasterboard you would probably need to take out the plasterboard as well, ,you need to move eg toilet ,basin .there is also a knack in getting old tiles of. If it some who only tile he probably wouldnt remove the tiles, wouldn't repair the wall, .best is get trademan that is more a builder he would take of the tiles repairs , skim them if necessary and tile
