Unfinished work

I have employed a tiler to tile my hallway. He stated that it would take him 2 days and we agreed a fixed price. Day 1 he spent 3 hours going to get materials that he had forgotten. Day 2 he tiled for half the day stating that he had to wait for the tiles to set before finishing off the work. Since then we have arranged two further days for him to finish off his work however each day he has called giving some excuse as to why he can not come over to finish off the work. I now don't know when if every he will finish off the work what are my option. I have not paid for any of the work or materials as of yet

Hi i think he under priced the job as its taken longer than he anticepated. He is now trying to get to you inbetween jobs. Not very perfessional . I apologise for the spelling. Thanks ian
