I have had a wet room installed but hate the vinyl on the floor. It's a dirt magnet! If I tile over the vinyl floor using the correct materials, how do I adjust the water waste drainage cover in the middle of the floor? I cannot twist it up higher to meet the new level of tiles, because it has been set with silicon. I hope that make sense.
Or would you recommend just pulling up the floor completely and start again and completely replace the drain cover? Should i let an expert do this or do you think I can do a DIY?
