Hi Yasmin Fairly easy job too do for a good all round builder you can relocate the door and window its just a matter of proping above the opening you wish too make with 1 or 2 strong boys thats a tool by the way not real boys!! insert the lintols if its rendered outside use two concrete lintols for inner and outer skin. If its a brickwork outer skin use a lintol called a catnik. and no need for a structural engineer as its fairly basic also double glazing companys dont do structural openings, and if they did it would be outside contractors they just put windows in hope this helps shawn slb,brickwork
