We had to open our roof window fully to view its serial number (for correct size to order new blind) at the hinge end. But 2 bolts have come out which look like part of mechanism to fully release the window. This is a fire escape type. Do we need to have new bolts fitted as we're worried the window might be out of alignment and will leak? Also, not sure which make of winodw this is as serial number starts with '5MEG7N….' does not correspond to makes we know of… Other roof window is a Colt Roto from Loft Shop.
