Hello. I have a Espag UPVC double glazed window lock that is stuck in the upright (vertical position).
I am not able to turn the handle right (to the horizontal position) and shut/lock/seal the window properly. The key turns in the lock and the lock appears to work.
I originally thought it was just a case of replacing the handle however when I removed the handle and tried to operate it as normal the handle turns to the locked (horizontal) position as it should. The spindle is part into the window handle.
I am now thinking that the problem lies with the locking/turning mechanism inside the window frame. I have had a better look and it appears that the locking mechanism (inside the window frame) may have shifted slightly and is preventing the handle from moving to the right to shut the window. On first look it does not appear to need any extra parts.
Please could anyone provide me some help/advice.
