Hi There is no scrappage scheme , some company's use that as a reason to discount there product , how ever some times you can get money for the windows you are taking out , such as scrapping the Ali windows to a scrap metal company or re cycling PVC ones how ever this would only amount to a few quid not the 1000s that some of these company's claim When replacing your windows always get 2/3 quotes to make sure you are not paying too much or too little but to also make sure you are getting a good product at a good price , too many people think the only way to know they have a good deal is by the cheapest price , but very often the reason why it is cheap is because the product is not good , how ever you can pay way over the odds with some of the national company's , not because it's a better product but simply the layers of management they have that all need a cut Make sure you get your quote in writing & avoid finance packages they offer they are not a good way to borrow money & use a certas or fensa registered company and ask about the energy rating of your window Tim harris Md Cinda windows
