Conservatory floor

Posted by vicki revell, on
Does there need to be a specific gap from the base to wooden joists in a conservatory floor?

Hello Vicki, As you are having a timber floor. Both are normally at the same level which should be your damp proof course level. That should be the same as your internal floor level taking into account your flooring. I hope that explanation was of help to you. Regards Warwick

I would think you would have to have a minimum of 3 courses of brickwork, which is 225mm.The joists should be off the ground and never in contact with the ground.graham
