My windows need refurbishing, it is a very large bay window. Is it possible to upgrade the glass to reduce noise ? What roughly would you estimate

Hello Ann, It may be possible to replace your existing glass with double glazed units the thinnest you can get are 12mm thick but they come at a price. Have you thought of secondary glazing? Most double glazed companies can do this for you, not only will they cut down on the noise but they will also keep in the warmth. Hope this info is of use to you, Cheers Ian
