Hi Hill, they are quite easy to fit as i have done many in Windsor where we are. you can do them your self, there are many different types; reason being the different number of window systems out there in the market place. if you can ID the type of frame then you can purchase them on the internet. there should but not always a name stamped on the plastic frame (if that is a problem then go for face fix type which are universal and they work very well) once you know the name then you can get the restrictor for it. to fit line it up follow the instructions 4 screws and that's it. when you fit it make sure you keep away from the edge of the glass. good luck.
