hi Pauline, if you are thinking of doing them your self i would say be careful because if you've not had the experience it can go horribly wrong. Get a double glazing fitter who him self knows how. Many of them think they do; but don't. Trust me, i have corrected so many that have been fitted baddy by so called installers that i have lost count. incorrectly fitted sealed units lead to many short as well as long term problems. if you are attempting to do them yourself you will find a lot of help and advice on the net; by studying it you will become more aware of whats required - in which case you can either do it your self or at least quiz the person you wish to employ to do the work and see if he knows whats required. if nothing else it will keep him/her on their guard.
