Repairs to uPVC Window

Posted by Anthony Hogan, on
I have a large, double-glazed, uPVC bay window in my living room. Overhanging the main window is a pitched section of glazing, which appears to have lost its bottom rail (there may not have been one there in the first place). This has caused the glazing to slide downwards, breaking the seal at the top. I think that the seal at the bottom has failed too. I think that the pitched glazing will have to be replaced and a new bottom rail fitted. 1. Is this possible? 2. Would it be the right solution? Any advice would be much appreciated!
