Windows with vents

Posted by Sarah Nicholson, on
We have recently had an extension and now having problems with condensation. The window company have not fitted with vents, and have marked on Contract "no vents"...... our builder said that really they should have had vents. Having made enquiries with the installers they said that the windows are usually fitted as standard with vents but we must have asked for none......THIS IS NOT THE CASE and as mentioned to them I didn't even realise windows had vents so I certainly did not request his. Please can you advise how we can proceed? We currently have some of the floor dug up and patches of paintwork over the walls. Help please!

The window company can fit trickle vents on the windows for you but they are not liable to if it says no vents on your paperwork, it sound like there no very good on survey or explaining to customers all new builds should be vented , but is easy to sort and and won't cost a lot
