Replacement glazing unit on my front door

My front door has two double glazed windows. One had blown so I got the people who fitted the units several years ago. The pattern is Everglade but when the new unit was fitted it had been cut differently from the other. I said so but the fitter told me Everglade can be used anyway. But I disagree with that because if it was only one piece of glass then there would be no problem but since there are two panels side by side then they look mismatched and also the refraction of light passing through stands out rather badly. Could anyone help me please?
