He efficiently installed a cooker circuit for an induction hob by inserting and connecting a 15m wire from the island in our open plan kitchen-dining-living area under the flooring to the switchboard (under the stairs). He surveyed requirements the day before and came up with a constructive, workable solution. Another company expressed an interest in the work but only highlighted potential obstacles and challenges.

Not often a tradesperson is happy to visit without cost to do an assessment of works required upfront and then give s reasonable quote and also explain possible options. Needed a new consumer unit (fuse box to us laypeople) to replace my ancient one and do an EICR. Based on the quote for the work I also added a hard wired for alarm and some smaller jobs as well. Very polite, cleaned up after the works as well. I have already recommended him to a number of friends.
