Recommendation "We have recently employed NML Contracts to undertake work on our house of a challenging nature and for which the usual jobbing builder and plumber declined to quote. NML Contracts have demonstrated skills and initiative in dealing with the unexpected and produced a thoroughly satisfactory and pleasing result which has materially improved the attractiveness and serviceability of the house . The work included incorporating a porch into the lounge area , requiring an RSJ some 4.4m in length, In the course of construction t was found that the roof was concrete and was supported by the outer skin of the house, whereas the roof of the house was conventional timber and was supported by the inner skin. It was therefore necessary to use the RSJ to support the concrete and provide suitable timber supports for the main roof . This was done most expertly and quickly and was approved by the building inspectors. All energy conservation requirements were fully met . Kris from KPT Building was excellent. He was very prompt and worked quickly and neatly. He and a colleague took out our shower cubicle and fitted a new shower tray, replumbed the toilet and cleared a blocked pipe in the loft. It took less than 8 hours! He managed to salvage the old shower cubicle and refitted it perfectly. He was very efficient and we would highly recommend him.

My husband accepted and paid your bill at the time it is only subsequently that we have found out from others that this was an excessive amount to be charged for this work. Our mistake was not getting a number of quotes before instructing you to do the work. We will not make this mistake again.
