Great job - replacing mortar on back of house with lime mortar and on gable end. Also sorted out lots of small jobs while scaffolding up - painting fascia, leading on leaky gutter etc.. - which was really helpful.

Job was well done but promised an unwritten gaurantee and all I've got to show for it is a number to call if there are any issues! Not what was agreed which is a shame. Can't give a potential buyer of my house a phone number in a year to prove the roof is new!

I am primarily a bricklaying specialist though I am more than happy to do natural stone work as well. I have worked on and completed many projects including new builds, small and large extensions, commercial and private developments, retaining walls, stone work, re-pointing, renovations, fireplaces, Indian stone flagging, renovations and structural alterations. I have sub-contracted for most of the major house builders, worked for private developers, and also many bricklaying contractors, though I am now focussing on working direct for the public offering a professional, efficient and competitive bricklaying service which includes all aspects of bricklaying from new builds,extensions and garden/retaining walls right through to a small repair job! Paul was excellent at communicating with me throughout the work on the roof. He sent photos of the work and explained what was needed. His team did a excellent job and I would definitely recommend them.
At MCR pointing we treat every job as it’s our own property. With 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge on various mortars and pointing methods. When the mortar becomes deteriorated it is necessary for the building to be re pointed. We grind the old mortar out using a 5 inch grinder complete with a diamond disk to ensure clean cut to top and bottom of the joint. Then we point the brickwork/stone using either sand and cement or a lime mortar, with different finishes to suite the client.

My experience of a kitchen window enlargement wasn’t good. Fair enough Kieron had a lot of health issues which meant the two-week job took over two months but the finish wasn't good and I was left with quite a few problems.
