George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Mixed experience. I've never had anyone work on my house who shows such a lack of respect for my property. Despite being asked 3 times to be careful and to cover plants, etc, our garden was trampled and rubbish, including nails, scattered everywhere. We had to spend several hours clearing up after they had finished. This attitude showed up in the work too, some of which needed redoing. End result is OK; I still think it could have been neater

Posting the job brought an immediate response from this roofer, who arrived to assess the job very quickly. He showed me photos and video of the problem (I don't have the head for heights to see for myself), and explained very clearly what was required. Having agreed on actions and cost, he made the necessary repairs the same day, and provided photos of the work. At all times he was friendly and seemed efficient. Like all such work, I cannot yet know if it was effective, but would use him again.

Liam came to sort my leaking roof on 1/11/19. Claimed there was more loose tiles on roof and charged me extra to put all of them in place- no pictures provided to prove this, like what other roofers do. Didn’t give me a receipt and promised to email this together with a 5 year guarantee he promised me for paying xtra. He ignored my texts and has now blocked my number. I’d never use him again and not I’m not even sure he even fixed the leak. Unprofessional, disgusting and don’t recommend. Wasted my £200.

The good news - my previous review and perception has improved significantly. Literally a 180 turnaround. The bad news is Rated People doesn't allow me to remove the previous review, only update it. Therefore just to provide a brief update; Asa has since joined the team and wow what a difference he has made. Very customer centric, communicates very well and really reasonable all round. The guys reattended to resolve the issues and since then no more leaks.

Bespoke joinery to a high standard by a time served joiner with over 45 years experience.
Left me with a massive headache. Fitted oak cladding to stairs. Misaligned ballistrade, needs taking out. Many of the steps creak, quarterlanding creaks, (did not before). Joinery badly cut with no scribing. Damaged plaster where wood cut in situ. Left many holes in wall where handrail put up more than once because at wrong height. Removed a newel post, and joined ballustrade at 90 degrees - unsafe and against building regs. Left huge messes everywhere for us to clear up on several days. Took ages over the
