The weather bars and sealing were completed on the morning of day 2. The old doors were removed for disposal and all debris cleaned up. This was very tidy and high-quality work, for a very reasonable price. I'm happy to recommend York Carpentry most highly.

Sees like a lovely guy but job quote of 3 days still isn't finished by him...lots of reasons why AWOL a few times...just wanted my garden finishing so ended up doing it myself after 7 8 weeks wait Lets not talk about the money he took for a skip but didn't pay the skip hire firm ! Job was actually pretty ok such a shame they left my home in a state. No cleaning up after the job even though Paul stood for two days saying how much his guys respected peoples homes then on the final day stepped over it all to leave. Damage to paintwork, knocked a plug out of its socket and broke my hoover. This could have all been discussed and made right but unfortunately it wasn’t and we were left with a bad taste with it all and the owner only really wanting to discuss payment. Such a shame

I wanted to score 2.5/5. Protype quoted a very high price for the work which I accepted on the basis that they would provide a once and for all fix to a leaking roof. Part of the work looks to have been performed well but some parts were not. So far no leaks but when I tried to contact them after a poorly fitted piece down pipe fell off l got no reply.
