My name is Akos, I am originally an architect but I have a company called Zebra Services here in the South of England including South London. Ben contacted me promptly and gave me a quote over the phone - he came the following day to do the job and sent photos and a video of the work - everything was left clean and tidy. We needed some buttresses built to support a garden wall. Fred was able to provide very practical help and advice which we were more than happy to act upon. The work was delivered in a timely way and to a very high standard. The guys were always cleaning up after themselves and always left the site clean and tidy. Main task of laying wood was top class. Reasons for the mixed review: - As part of cost, was promised beading that would colour match the wood, but he turned up with different colour beading and it was left to me to varnish it - door needed to be trimmed because the wooden floor was at a raised height - was cut incorrectly. He promised to return and fix the door and lay a bridge to the carpeted hallway if I paid him in full which I did. Despite me following up, he never returned which I find dishonest.

A SUMMARY of issues follows. 1 - Plastering done is uneven. 2 - Did not allow plaster to dry before painting walls so already peeling off. 3 - Found number of areas where holes had been left, and had these not been pointed out would have been left. 4 - Wood not sanded before painting, incl. new skirting boards. 5 - Threats when I refused to pay!
