I have found that giving people a fixed price quotation and an honest time scale has always been the best policy. And of course we are fully insured. you don't need a deposit, you just pay when we are finished. no deposits

Sam built the brick and block walls and roof for our 40m2 first floor extension. The first thing he did was point out that a previous builder we had in had used the wrong bricks, then he found us the right ones. A good start. Always quiet, considerate, unflustered and a good choice of music. Very good at cleaning up afterwards. Brickwork is excellent: the window fitters commented on the accuracy of the openings. The price was good and was as quoted, so no nasty surprises. Highly recommended.
