Sam built the brick and block walls and roof for our 40m2 first floor extension. The first thing he did was point out that a previous builder we had in had used the wrong bricks, then he found us the right ones. A good start. Always quiet, considerate, unflustered and a good choice of music. Very good at cleaning up afterwards. Brickwork is excellent: the window fitters commented on the accuracy of the openings. The price was good and was as quoted, so no nasty surprises. Highly recommended.

Andrew is a nice guy and does quality work, but for kitchen tiling I am afraid to say is very slow; approx 4 tiles per hour (100x200mm) or 0.8 sq m a day (10 hours). I personally (a diy'er) can do 15 tiles an hour - i.e. 4 times faster. £250 at day is expensive. (My electrician is £175 a day) I ended up capping the job at £600 and decided to complete tiling and grouting myself after 3 days. I would not have hired Andrew if I knew he was this slow and as a result expensive.

Paul was brilliant, he came out the next day and did an amazing amount of work In one day at a very hight standard and was all done for a competative price! He didnt stop for a break, was very friendly and polite will definatly recomend him to friends and my Husband is a builder and will also be keeping him in mind for any plastering jobs that he cannot do him self. Highly recomended. I think this website is a fantasic idea aswell.

I hired Adam to plaster and decorate my 2 bed flat. He is a fantastic tradesman. He worked consistently over the time period he had given and managed to finish the job on the day he said he would. This made our lives so much easer and allowed us to organise the rest of the work. Additionally, his finish was great and all aspects of the job were completed as he said they would be. Excellent mirror finish work. Really pleased with it. Our walls were in a terrible state and ceilings with artex not much better. Rooms now look brand new. Martin is friendly and knowledgeable and Im glad to have him doing our plastering.
