Hello there! My name is Lucas and I’m a multi-trader. Trained as a painter and decorator in 2011, I have since developed my practice to also include plastering, carpentry and joinery, as well as cabinet making. I am part of a collective of trades people called Plaster and Paint (links to works below), a group of independent builders that applies itself in everything concerning home improvement and kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. I also regularly do work for Art&Assembly LTD (links to works below), an art fabrication company that specialises in making sculptural artwork, bespoke cabinetry and furniture, and high end shops and restaurants. With over 8 years experience and City and Guilds certification in various trades, I strive for high quality work that lasts. Efficient, tidy and flexible when it comes to work schedules, I am always happy to discuss anything necessary to make whatever works undertaken as stress free as possible for everyone. Lucas did a fantastic job of sanding, fixing and varnishing our wooden floor in our small back bedroom. He was very professional and friendly and even helped with trying to fix a leak in a water pipe below the floorboard . Kept in constant contact with us too. Very trustworthy. Highly recommended!

We had them in to install insulation in our upstairs floor, replace the sub floor, replace some lights, install a loft hatch, and board out our loft. On top of this they discovered a problem in our roof that they fixed. We were incredibly impressed by all of the staff that attended on site. They were friendly, polite at all times, and worked really hard, to a high standard. I couldn't recommend James and his team more, and we've already started talking to them about a further project.

Builder saw and quoted for the job. I hired him in good faith. Started work refused to remove both fence panels. Removed and damaged the panel,did not errect it back as found.Did not finish my job. Left all rubbish in the work area, including his own bucket.Poured cement and raw lime water in my flower bed, destroying my seeds, germinating for the summer season. Broke my garden tap off the push fit and couldn't fix it back. A total disaster, leaving me with incomplete rendering, which cost me twice over.
