I can't recommend Tom highly enough. He's a lovely friendly chap and supremely good at what he does. He put up 4 pairs of new curtains and the poles as well as taking down the old ones. Everything is looking fab and perfectly positioned and the curtain poles will not be coming down in a hurry! Everywhere left spotless too. I'll definitely be in touch the next time I need work doing. Excellent Work on Partition Wall, Electrics, and Finish. ?We recently hired these guys to install a partition wall separating our staircase from the living room, and the results are fantastic. ?The entire process was handled with exceptional professionalism. The team not only constructed a solid, well-integrated wall, but they also took care of all the necessary electrical work (including new switches) and followed up with pristine plastering.
Nice guy but let me down terribly. I needed 3 rooms to have new ceilings. A messy job and taking the old ones down was fine, but they ran out of time, failed to complete the job leaving gaps in the plaster on the walls and failed to skim the plaster board on the ceilings. Shocking result- they were too concerned about the large job they had and left my rooms in a shocking state.

I particularly specialise in the causes of damp, damp- proofing solutions, plaster boarding/plastering. Bricklaying (internal and external), blockwork and stud walling. I have also successfully undertaken work in many areas of home and garden improvement/repair/maintenance, a selection including - the installation of skirting boards, internal door adjustments and re-hanging doors, laying laminate and engineered wood flooring and the assembly of flat-pack furniture. We are a period/listed property restoration company. We specialise in traditional materials and methods. Often our work is to Identity and rectify damp issues which arise from the use of modern materials on period properties where breathable materials are imperative for the buildings features and characteristics to function. Once the breathability of the property is compromised damp issues will occur. We offer damp assessments for your property with a full report to guide you in the right direction eradicating current and future damp issues. Our assessments cost: £140 including guidance and a full report which details the source(s) of the damp & mould, how to eradicate the issues. - Lime rendering & plastering with horse hair. - Lime pointing. - Masonry repairs. - Paint removal using the Thermatech hot steam cleaning system. - Brick/stone feature walls. - lime wash - Breathable Painting. - lime plaster/render We often work with conservation officers from the authorities to ensure our works are of the highest standards.

we specialise in all aspects of plastering inc. dryline and skim , float and skim , skimming over artex , magnetic skimming and also monacuch render and floor screeding.
Change of rating. Job was done in less than a day with 4 plasterers on site. We had problems with the finish and Ashley came back and worked for 2\3 hours but now that it has dried out and been painted we can see see marks and uneven surfaces everywhere. The plaster is so thin in places, some came off during painting leaving a mark. We took dado rail off and can still see marks where it had been. Hair line cracks the full length of the wall are also appearing.
