Bill did a great job repairing my kitchen coving, re-using a cut-out piece to fill in two gaps. After repainting them, they merged seamlessly with the rest of the coving. Bill also helped with some touch-ups to paintwork around the house, took time to find the right type of white paint to match and did test patches to check they dried the same as existing paint. Would highly recommend.

Kevin completed all my requirements to the letter, with a couple of additions. This was all done to a very high standard. He managed to do all works in a total of 15 days, all by himself may I add. Stuart and Fraser did a great job painting and wallpapering 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for us. Having 2 people on the job meant it was finished quicker. There was a fair bit of prep to be done due to a bit of water damage and settlement, which they did a good job repairing. Very pleasant, tidy tradesmen who I’d definitely use again and recommend to others. Price was reasonable for all the work involved and communication great.

Thanks Paul, here is how I see it from a customers perspective. I waited over two weeks for an estimate and had to chase. You said you were off sick and immediately sent me an estimate for £395 . I costed the parts and they were around £70 so you were charging £325 for labour. I reckoned it was a 2hr job and have since had work done and just under 2hrs at a total cost of £190. So in my simple head you were charging £160/hour for labour versus £60/hour . Just tell customers the truth if job too small
As a self employed painter I take very good pride in my work. I aim to give a high standard finish within my work. Attention to detail is the key, any wee holes or dinks get dealt with properly and not left aside. I aim achieve and hit my targets on time to keep any customer happy, I leave a very tidy work place when my day is over. Plenty of dust sheets for the protection of the customers belongings.
