Shocking work. We paid £3,400 for a brand new bathroom with new flooring throughout the home and this builder James Baker who runs under various business names from J W to The Dark Spark electrical in Spalding has destroyed the bathroom and his so called friends have placed a worthless and extremely shoddy bad job. A 5 year old could do better. We are now taking legal action after a flooding, no work for 2 weeks and wall panels that are such a bad job we have to get a new bathroom fitted.

For the first appointment (11am-1pm), they texted after 12pm to say they couldn't arrive before 1pm. For the rescheduled appointment, they did not show up. Ivan is a hardworking and efficient wood flooring expert. It's a late Victorian house, we requested removal of two old damaged woodchip boards. The area was two first floor landings. We asked for reclaimed pine floorboards to be put down. He did a wonderful job of replacing them to match some original ones. Then sanded, primed and vanished the floor twice. Ivan was enthusiastic and took pride in his work. He tidied, up each of th four days work, hoovered area and took away rubbish. Highly recommend

This firm sub contracted out the work to a local plumber/carpenter who I found difficult to contact. I needed a new shower as he said he couldn`t repair it. I selected the cheapest one as I am upgrading my bathroom later this year. He couldn`t get it straight away so I selected a dearer one which he fitted. He then told me he was going away the next day. If I hadn`t selected the dearer one I would still be waiting! There is some moisture leaking but I really don`t want him again so I`ll wait and see.
