George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful

Eugene was organised, professional and friendly as were all of his team. He organised all the relevant building regs applications etc, I didn’t have to get involved, and made sure I was happy with everything before he left. No mess left behind, up front and honest, a refreshing change to my previous experiences of the building trade. Eugene is very knowlegeable and comes up with some great ideas. I will not be recommending this company as the workmanship done by Abcot Plastering is terrible, I offered a return to put works right, but as Abcot Plastering refused to take responsibility for very poor workmanship, and declined to put all works right to a proffesional standard. I am now having to pay for all works to be redone elsewhere.
