Very disappointed with this “tradesman” and his work. Things went well initially with Mervyn helping to design our bathroom refurb. The work itself seemed to go reasonably well but he when he was called back to fix a leak in the shower this wasn’t done adequately. More and more silicone was added, without fixing the leak. Eventually, when the shower leaked so badly that water poured through our living room ceiling, this guy wouldn’t even answer his phone. My advice would be to avoid.

30/11/23. Ideal Engineer was arranged to come out to check installed boiler by Boiler Tech. Hot and cold pipes where discovered to be reversed and attached opposite ways. Which needed corrected by another plumber before two parts of the boiler were replaced. Boiler engineer stated the parts failed because the system wasn’t flushed prior to installation. Documented by Ideal.
